My 2023 F1 predictions

 Hi, this week I'm predicting the 2023 season in Formula 1

This is based on my opinion and not the results of preseason testing in Bahrain

Constructor's Championship

10. Alpha Tauri ( Yuki Tsunoda #22 and Nyck De Vries #21)


Alpha Tauri has hired Nyck De Vries (won the 2019 F2 Championship). It is gonna be close between few different teams.





9. Williams (Alex Albon #23 and Logan Sargeant #2)

 

Williams has hired Logan Sargeant (F2 driver last   year). James Vowles is the new team principal   since Jost Capito has resigned from the role at the   end of last year.



8. Aston Martin ( Fernando Alonso #14 and Lance Stroll #18)


Aston Martin signed Fernando Alonso after Sebastian Vettel retired last year.





7. Haas (Kevin Magnussen #20 and Nico Hulkenberg #27)


Haas has replaced Mick Schumacher with Nico Hulkenberg.






6. McLaren (Lando Norris #4 and Oscar Piastri #81)


 McLaren replaced Daniel Ricciardo with Oscar   Piastri (won F2 last year in his first season).   Andrea Stella is the new team principal.





5. Alpine (Esteban Ocon #31 and Pierre Gasly #10)


 Alpine replaced Fernando Alonso with Pierre   Gasly.






4. Alfa Romeo (Valtteri Bottas #77 and Guanyu Zhou #24)


 Alfa Romeo got a new team principal called     Alessandro Alunni Bravi.




3. Mercedes (Lewis Hamilton #44 and George Russell #63)


 Mick Schumacher is the new 3rd driver for   Mercedes.






2. Ferrari (Charles Leclerc #16 and Carlos Sainz #55)


 Ferrari got a new team principal called Frederic   Vasseur.






1. Red Bull (Max Verstappen #1/33 and Sergio Perez #11)


Red Bull are the current Constructors' champions and hoping to get another Constructors' title this year. Daniel Ricciardo has re-joined Red Bull as a 3rd driver.




Driver's Championship

20. Logan Sargeant


Logan Sargeant is a rookie in F1 this season and he is the latest American driver to race in F1 since Alexander Rossi.




19. Nyck De Vries


Nyck De Vries has already made his race debut last year at the Italian Grand replacing Alex Albon who got ill before the qualifying.





18. Yuki Tsunoda


Yuki Tsunoda is going into his third season. 





17. Alex Albon


Alex Albon will have a decant season.





16. Lance Stroll


Lance will have an okay season.





15. Nico Hulkenberg


Nico Hulkenberg is making a return to F1 after being a reserve driver for Racing Point/ Aston Martin.





14. Oscar Piastri 


Oscar Piastri won the 2021 F2 season and been the reserve driver for Alpine last year and his contract with Alpine has been expired and chosen McLaren to race for.





13. Kevin Magnussen


Kevin Magnussen is going have a good season.






12. Fernando Alonso


Fernando Alonso is going to have a good season.





11. Esteban Ocon


Esteban Ocon is going to have a good season.






10. Lando Norris


Lando Norris is going to have an okay season.






9. Guanyu Zhou


Zhou is going to be more impressive this season.






8. Pierre Gasly


Pierre Gasly has joined Alpine and this season will be his first season outside the Red Bull environment.








7. Valtteri Bottas


Valtteri Bottas is going to have a great season.









6. Sergio Perez


Sergio Perez is going to have an okay season.





5. George Russell


George Russell is going to have a good season.









4. Lewis Hamilton


Lewis Hamilton is going to have a good season.





3. Carlos Sainz


Carlos Sainz is going to have a great season.






2. Max Verstappen


Max Verstappen is going to have a good season.





1. Charles Leclerc


Charles Leclerc will be the 2023 World Champion in F1.

  Hi, this week I'm introducing the Spanish Grand Prix. The Spanish Grand Prix (Spanish: Gran Premio de España, Catalan: Gran Premi d'Espanya) is a Formula One motor racing event currently held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The race is one of the oldest in the world still contested, celebrating its centenary in 2013. The race had modest beginnings as a production car race. Interrupted by the First World War, the race waited a decade for its second running before becoming a staple of the European calendar. In 1927 it was part of the World Manufacturers' Championship; it was promoted to the European Championship in 1935 before the Spanish Civil War brought an end to racing. Get to know F1 Team principals: Frederic Vasseur

  Hi, this week I'm introducing Frederic Vasseur Frédéric Vasseur (born 28 May 1968 in Draveil, Ile-de-France) is a French motorsport engineer and manager with a long career managing Formula-series teams. He is currently the team principal and general manager of Scuderia Ferrari, and was previously the managing director, CEO, and team principal of the Switzerland-based Alfa Romeo Racing. Career Vasseur studied aeronautics and engineering before starting his career in the junior Formula-series creating his own team, ASM. Known for his success and fostering talent he eventually moved on to Formula 1 as race director and eventually team principal for Renault F1 before leaving the team in 2016 because of different visions in managing the team to that of the team's senior management. Subsequently, he was hired by Sauber in July 2017. ASM Vasseur graduated from ESTACA and founded the ASM team in 1996 which, in partnership with Renault, won the French Formula 3 championship with David
