Reviewing the 2022 F1 season

 Hi, this week I'm talking about the 2022 F1 season.

Drivers' Championship

1. Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen won the Drivers' title back to back for Red Bull since Sebastian Vettel won it back to back (2010 and 2011). He won 15 races in a season which is a new record for the most wins in season. He got 454 points.





2. Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc came 2nd in the Drivers' Championship. He got the most pole positions in a season for Ferrari since Michael Schumacher. He got 308 points.





3. Sergio Perez

Sergio Perez came 3rd in the Drivers' Championship. Perez had a great season for Red Bull. He got 305 points.









4. George Russell

George Russell came 4th in the Drivers' Championship. He won his first F1 race this season and it is the only win for Mercedes. He got 275 points.









5. Carlos Sainz Jr.

Carlos Sainz came 5th in the Drivers' Championship. He won his first F1 race this season. He got 246 points.






6. Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton came 6th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 240 points.






7. Lando Norris

Lando Norris came 7th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 122 points.





8. Esteban Ocon

Esteban Ocon came 8th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 92 points.







9. Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso came 9th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 81 points.






10. Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri Bottas came 10th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 49 points.






11. Daniel Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo came 11th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 37 points.





12. Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel came 12th in the Drivers' Championship. 2022 is his last year in F1. He got 37 points.









13. Kevin Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen came 13th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 25 points.









14. Pierre Gasly

Pierre Gasly came 14th Drivers' Championship. He got 23 points.










15. Lance Stroll

Lance Stroll came 15th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 18 points.





16. Mick Schumacher

Mick Schumacher came 16th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 12 points.





17. Yuki Tsunoda

Yuki Tsunoda came 17th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 12 points.





18. Guanyu Zhou

Guanyu Zhou came 18th Drivers' Championship. He got 6 points.





19. Alexander Albon

Alex Albon came 19th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 4 points.







20. Nicholas Latifi

Nicholas Latifi came 20th in the Drivers' Championship. He got 2 points.






21. Nyck de Vries

Nyck de Vries came 21st in the Drivers' Championship. He replaced Albon for the Italian Grand Prix and finished 9th in his first F1 start. He got 2 points.





22. Nico Hulkenberg

Nico Hulkenberg came 22nd in the Drivers' Championship.





Constructors' Championship

1. Red Bull

Red Bull won the 2022 Constructors' Championship. Red Bull got 759 points.





2. Ferrari

Ferrari came 2nd in the Constructors' Championship. Ferrari started the year great then they started making mistakes. Ferrari got 554 points.





3. Mercedes

Mercedes came 3rd in the Constructors' Championship. Mercedes struggled this year with porpoising and improved their performance in the 2nd half of the season. Mercedes got 515 points.




4. Alpine

Alpine came 4th in the Constructors' Championship. Alpine didn't got a podium and being very consistent in the points helped them to 4th. Alpine got 173 points.





5. McLaren

McLaren came 5th in the Constructors' Championship. McLaren is the only team on the grid other than Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes to get a podium. McLaren got 159 points.





6. Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo came 6th in the Constructors' Championship. Alfa Romeo got 55 points.









7. Aston Martin

Aston Martin came 7th in the Constructors' Championship. Aston Martin got 55 points.






8. Haas

Haas came 8th in the Constructors' Championship. Haas got 37 points.









9. Alpha Tauri

Alpha Tauri came 9th in the Constructors' Championship. Alpha Tauri got 35 points.









10. Williams

Williams came 10th in the Constructors' Championship. Williams got 8 points.
