2022 season so far

 Hi, I'm talking about the current season so far.

11 out of the 22 races has been done so I am doing a review of the season.

Drivers' Championship:

1. Max Verstappen

Verstappen has 6 wins, 8 podiums, 3 pole positions and 208 points.

He retired in the first (Bahrain) and third (Australia) race of the season but he won at Saudi Arabia. After Australia, he won 5 of 7 races.





2. Charles Leclerc

Leclerc has 3 wins, 5 podiums, 6 pole positions and 170 points.

He is great this season. He was unlucky at Monaco, Spain and Azerbaijan.


 



3. Sergio Perez

Perez has 1 win, 6 podiums, 1 pole position and 151 points.

He got his first pole position at Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.






4. Carlos Sainz Jr

Sainz has 1 win, 6 podiums, 1 pole position and 133 points.

Sainz got his first pole position and first win at the 2022 British Grand Prix.




5. George Russell

Russell has 3 podiums and 128 points.

he is having a great season, finishing in the top 5 for 9 races in a row until his retirement on the first lap at the British Grand Prix.




6. Lewis Hamilton

Hamilton has 4 podiums and 109 points.

He did struggled with the car earlier in the season but for the last few races he is getting better.





7 Lando Norris

Norris has 1 podium and 64 points.

He is being good at McLaren and delivering results for the team.






8. Esteban Ocon

Ocon has 52 points.

He was unlucky to get an engine failure at the British Grand Prix.





9. Valtteri Bottas

Bottas has 46 points.

He is doing a great job at Alfa Romeo.





10. Fernando Alonso

Alonso has 29 points.

Alonso is looking for a new contract for Alpine.





11. Kevin Magnussen

Magnussen has 22 points.

He is doing good at Haas.






12. Daniel Ricciardo

Ricciardo has 17 points.

He is struggling again this year at McLaren.





13. Pierre Gasly

Gasly has 16 points.

He is the best driver at Alpha Tauri.






14. Sebastian Vettel

Vettel has 15 points.

He missed the first 2 races of the year because of Covid.





15. Mick Schumacher

Schumacher has 12 points.

Schumacher scored his first points in the British Grand Prix.









16. Yuki Tsunoda

Tsunoda has 11 points.

He did improved from last year.





 




17. Zhou Guanyu

Zhou has 5 Points.

He is doing great as a rookie and he is lucky from his crash at the British Grand Prix.








18. Alexander Albon

Albon has 3 points.

He is doing good at Williams.









19. Lance Stroll

Stroll has 3 points.

He is struggling at Aston Martin.






20. Nicholas Latifi

Latifi has 0 Points.

He is struggling at Williams.





21. Nico Hulkenberg

Hulhenberg has o points.

He replaced Vettel for the first 2 races.






Constructors' Championship:

1. Red Bull Racing

Red Bull has 7 wins, 14 podiums, 4 pole positions and 359 points.

2. Ferrari

Ferrari has 4 wins, 11 podiums, 7 pole positions and 303 points.

3. Mercedes

Mercedes has 7 podiums and 237 points.

4. McLaren

McLaren has 1 podium and 81 points.

5. Alpine

Alpine has 81 points.

6. Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo has 51 points.

7. Haas

Haas has 34 points

8.Alpha Tauri

Alpha Tauri has 27 points.

9. Aston Martin

Aston Martin has 18 points.

10. Williams

Williams has 3 points.

  Hi, this week I'm introducing the Spanish Grand Prix. The Spanish Grand Prix (Spanish: Gran Premio de España, Catalan: Gran Premi d'Espanya) is a Formula One motor racing event currently held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The race is one of the oldest in the world still contested, celebrating its centenary in 2013. The race had modest beginnings as a production car race. Get to know F1 Team principals: Frederic Vasseur

  Hi, this week I'm introducing Frederic Vasseur Frédéric Vasseur (born 28 May 1968 in Draveil, Ile-de-France) is a French motorsport engineer and manager with a long career managing Formula-series teams. He is currently the team principal and general manager of Scuderia Ferrari, and was previously the managing director, CEO, and team principal of the Switzerland-based Alfa Romeo Racing. Career Vasseur studied aeronautics and engineering before starting his career in the junior Formula-series creating his own team, ASM. Known for his success and fostering talent he eventually moved on to Formula 1 as race director and eventually team principal for Renault F1 before leaving the team in 2016 because of different visions in managing the team to that of the team's senior management. Subsequently, he was hired by Sauber in July 2017.
